Clinical Social Worker & Psychotherapist

I AM A LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER trained in several psychotherapeutic approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Completing graduate study in clinical mental health at the University of Maryland School of Social Work enabled me the opportunity to work with many mentors and clinicians in a wide variety of settings. My experience includes work as a clinician and clinical supervisor in psychiatric hospitals, residential substance use disorder facilities, and correctional facilities.

From an academic standpoint, I have also earned undergraduate degrees in Criminal Justice, Sociology, and Psychology from Towson University. Additionally, I have a Master of Business Administration degree from Wake Forest University.

My philosophy about psychotherapy has been influenced by the work of C. G. Jung, Irvan Yalom, Inso Kim Berg, Ram Dass, and Alan Watts. While raised Christian, I am also drawn to Eastern spiritual practices and thought, Hermeticism, and Gnosticism.

As a clinical social worker, I am committed to caring compassionately for those I work with.
